The wait is finally over...as of today you can own Moana 2 on Digital and watch this amazing sequel time and time again with your family. My girls and I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this movie to digital as we missed it when it was in theaters and couldn't wait to see it after falling in love with the first Moana like so many other families.  Both of my girls dressed up as Moana for Halloween when the first movie came out originally. And Christmases that followed always included Moana toys and plushies. My youngest still sleeps with her talking Hei Hei plush, and has her Moana necklace that lights up and plays music.  Even though they are both teens now, they still hold a special place in their hearts for this Disney princess and love her mission of bringing her family and community together and helping to breath light and life back into the island she calls home.  And, now with the second installment in the Moana franchise, they get to see Moana, grown up now, like they are, still want to do right by her people, by setting out on a dangerous yet necessary voyage with some unlikely crewmates. And just like with the previous Moana movie, this one has some great catchy tunes you will find yourself singing along to and long after the movie ends.  

Moana 2 arrived on digital this AM, and the girls were quick to finish their homeschooling classwork and homework so that they could watch the movie. I surprised them by making a run to the movie theater nearby and grabbing a big bag of popcorn and bottle of butter to go, so that we could have a fun in-house movie experience screening Moana 2. As soon as the opening credits and music began, both of my girls had smiles on their faces, and couldn't wait to join Moana on yet another fun adventure with Maui.  Don't worry, I will not spoil the movie or ending if you and your family haven't had a chance to watch Moana 2 yet. But, what I will say is that I really enjoyed this movie.  I am not usually a fan of sequels, but this one really drew me in and had me engrossed in the movie and story line from beginning to end. Like the first movie, my girls and I were rooting for Moana to stay strong and work together with Maui to help her people and return safely from her voyage.  The songs really did make for a great addition to the story line, and there new characters introduced were fun and memorable.  We can't wait to watch this movie again over the weekend, as well as all the great bonus content that is included with the digital purchase. I even went ahead and pre-ordered the limited edition Moana 4K UHD SteelBook® to keep as a collector's item, which contains custom artwork and packaging.   

If you missed Moana 2 in theaters and loved the first movie, I highly recommend you purchase the digital movie, available starting today.  The Blu-ray, DVD and 4K UHD and collectible SteelBook®  will all be available on March 18th, and are available now for pre-order through online retailers like Amazon.  We really loved Moana 2, and I know you and your family will, too!
