If I was to ask you what you were watching back in 1999-2006 on television each week, you would probably be like me and millions of other viewers and say The West Wing.  This television series, which won Emmy Award after Emmy Award, year after year, was a staple in most homes during this time period.  I was watching this series with my dormmates while away at college, and then when home on breaks, would watch it with my parents.  I was never one for political dramas, until this began airing. And, then once it came to an end, it was hard to find a series to compared or even came close.  To this day people are still watching episodes streaming, or popping a DVD from their collection of individual season releases to watch over again.   

It wasn't until I was sent a copy of the complete series, which released for the first time on Blu-ray back on October 1st, that I watched an episode of The West Wing in a couple years. But, as soon as I popped the first Blu-ray in to watch, I was transported back and got to relieve some of my favorite scenes and episodes from this iconic Emmy-Award winning series. My oldest daughter sat and watched a few episodes with me, and now I have her hooked, and she is watching the series from the very beginning, and then wanting to chat with me about her favorite parts and characters.

The West Wing: The Complete Series on Blu-ray contains all seven seasons, which comes out to 156 episodes, on 28 discs, as well over 20 commentaries, behind the scenes featurettes, unaired scenes, gag reels and so much more, is a must have for fans of this series.  Like my daughter and I...once you start watching this series again from the beginning, you will find yourself recalling story lines and wanting to sit and watch more and episodes, until you blink and you are done with all 156 episodes again.  We are only 50 episodes in, but are loving every minute of it, and get to enjoy quality time together which I especially love. :-)
