Have you run out of things to watch or TV or stream? The kind folks at Great American Pure Flix sent me screeners of the first handful of episodes of County Rescue, and I have been watching an episode an night for the past week, finishing up yesterday. I could have watched the screeners all in one day as the series is that good and got me hooked after watching the first episode. I really liked the characters and their personal story lines, and how this medical drama reminded me of medical dramas of the 90's.
Each episode in this new series follows an EMT unit and their employees who not only save lives each day, but they also navigate their personal life, love life and faith. The first episode in the series introduces us to two new EMT trainees who find out they have to compete against each other for the permanent EMT job as the boss can only hire one of the them at the end of their trial period. This is what got me hooked on the series and had me wanting to watch each additional episode as I really wanted to see with of the two candidates would get the job in the end. Don't worry, I will not spoil anything. What I will say, though, is that is a really great series, and one I can't wait to watch the remaining episodes of, and then have family and friends also watch so that we can talk about our favorite characters, episodes and scenes.
I know no longer find myself saying I have nothing to watch, as I am loving this and other great faith-based series and movies releasing each month on Great American Pure Flix. This streaming service has shows the whole family will enjoy, as well as content that parents can enjoy when looking to unwind after a crazy busy work week. I have yet to sit and watch something on Great American Pure Flix I haven't enjoyed. And, it has made our weekly Friday night family movie nights easy to plan, as there is always a great movie to watch that we haven't seen before, or one we wouldn't mind watching again.
I could go on and on about how much I am enjoying the new series, County Rescue, coming to Great American Pure Flix on 2/23 and Great American Family on 2/26, but instead, why not mark your calendars and tune in and watch the first episode of this faith-based medical drama when it releases on 2/23. You will be glad you did, and I know you will find yourself getting hooked on this series and eagerly awaiting Fridays to roll around, not just for the weekend to begin, but also to watch another captivating and entertaining episode of this series.
