Ready to feel old?  Did you know that the acclaimed thriller film, The Fugitive, starring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones released 30 years ago?  Yes, it came to theaters back in 1993 -- 30 years ago!  I couldn't believe that when I read about last month in a press release from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.  This was one of my favorite movies I saw in theaters, and one I own and watch time and again either on DVD, or when I find it streaming online or on cable.  It never gets old, and was so well made, even without all the fancy special effects we see in movies today.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Fugitive, the folks at Warner Bros. Home Entertainment recently released this iconic film on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Digital back on November 21st. I was lucky enough to be sent a screener to review, and had a blast watching this movie for the umpteenth time with my husband.  Not only was the movie great, like always, but the bonus features that are included with this new anniversary release are worth the purchase alone.  Bonus content include an introduction by Andrew Davis and Harrison Ford, as well as movie commentary by Andrew Davis and Tommy Lee Jones.  The official theatrical trailer is also included, as well as a few featurettes that fans of this acclaimed movie will love watching.  The featurettes include: "The Fugitive: Thrill of the Chase," "On the Run with the Fugitive," and "Derailed: Anatomy of a Train Wreck."  My husband and I really enjoyed the train wreck featurette.  And, listening to the commentary from Andrew Davis and Tommy Lee Jones came more insight into the movie and backstory that made for a unique viewing experience when we watched it the other day.  Even though I have seen this movie so many times, it was nice to hear the commentary -- definitely a must experience with this new release.

With the holidays fast approaching, this new 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release would make for a great stocking stuffer or gift idea for fans of The Fugitive, Harrison Ford and/or Tommy Lee Jones.  My father loves this movie just as much as I do, and I already got him his own copy so he can enjoy time and time again.
