Old World Christmas, the nation’s premier Christmas ornament brand, is looking to spread some Christmas cheer to a family in need this holiday season -- and they need help finding that family.

I was so excited when the folks at Old World Christmas reached out to see if I would help them spread the word about their Old World Christmas 2023 Holiday Cheer Contest.  I have been a fan of their ornaments for a long time and fill our Christmas tree each year with their ornaments -- all of which hold a special meaning or remind me of a memory.  I even started a collection of ornaments for my girls that includes many Old World Christmas ornaments at birth, and add a few ornaments each Christmas.  Once they move on and get a place of their own, they will have their own collection of Christmas ornaments that will fill their first Christmas tree. And, like me, when they stick each ornament on their tree, they will be reminded of a special occasion or memory in their life.  I hope they find this special gift I am giving them to be one they cherish for years to come.

Old World Christmas is giving one deserving family the chance to have their master decorator, Sarah, create the ultimate Christmas tree experience in their home. Fans can nominate a family or individual with a photo, video or written entry on WHY they deserve the ultimate Christmas spirit treatment. Nominations are open through August 20.

I don't know about you, but I know a lot of people who have been struggling this year, and ever since COVID hit.  Times are tough for most family, especially with the increase in daily necessities.  Christmas will be here before we know it.
