My Thoughts:
This past Friday night we watched I AM T-REX for our family movie night selection, and really enjoyed it. My oldest has gotten into dinosaurs and now loves watching anything and everything that pertains to dinosaurs. So, when she saw this movie arrive on our doorstep, she was eager for Friday to get here to watch it. Like it mentioned above, this is a movie the whole family will enjoy, and that it was -- even my husband, who is not usually a fan of animated movies like this, sat through the movie and was talking about his favorite parts at the end with the girls and I.
From the moment the movie starts, you are drawn into the story, and captivated by not on the animation but the characters and their personalities. We were rooting for the young T-Rex from the start and were glued to the television screen the whole way through, up until the credits rolled. Don't worry, I will not give away the ending. What I will say, though, is that is a really great family-friendly movie, and one your family will want to watch time and time again. My oldest said this movie reminded her of the old Land Before Time dinosaur movies. as was all a similar feel with Lion King in that the King's son has to step up and protect his pride land.
