When my husband finds himself tossing and turning at night, he usually puts on Adult Swim as a way to relax, in hopes to eventually fall asleep.  Sometimes he finds his favorite Adult Swim series to watch, and other times he will stumble upon new shows which become favorites of his.  Then, he will stay up streaming or watching these new shows, so he can catch up. Well that happened last year when he stumbled upon an episode of Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal, which is Adult Swim's #1 prehistoric animated series.  After watching a couple episodes of this first season he was hooked. He showed me an episode, and like him, I found myself wanting to watch the other episodes to see what happened next with Spear and Fang.

Fast forward to the present, and we are just wrapping up binging the complete second season of this Emmy award-winning show, thanks to the recent release of the complete second season on Blu-ray from Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.  Just like with the first season of this popular Adult Swim series, once you start watching an episode, you want to keep watching to see what happens next. And, even if you have seen this series before, you will love watching the episodes over and over again.  We have found ourselves catching little things here and there that we missed when we originally watched the second season episodes.  

This new release to Blu-ray and DVD contains all 10 full-length episodes of season two, as well as exclusive uncensored special features you will definitely want to check out.   Even though the Spear and Fang story line has come to end, I can't wait to see Tartakovsky has up his sleeve for the forthcoming third season. He said back in 2022 that he hoped Primal would become a seasonal anthology, and that has many fans of this Adult Swim award-winning series intrigued and eager to see what comes next.  But, in the meantime fans of the series now have both the complete first and second seasons to watch whenever they want to get their Spear and Fang fix.
