Come Experience The Magic Of The Season!
THE IMMERSIVE NUTCRACKER, A WINTER MIRACLE
This past Sunday we headed into Boston to take in the Immersive Nutcracker: A Winter Miracle experience and do a little holiday shopping. Getting to the Lighthouse Art Space (located at 130 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA) was easy to get to, and parking is abundant in nearby parking lots as well as side-street parking. I found a cheap parking garage using my Parking Whiz app, and it was a short walk the the Lighthouse Art Space, but also close enough to the Public Gardens, where we headed to after shopping for skating at Frog Pond.
I didn't tell my girls about the Immersive Nutcracker: A Winter Miracle experience, as I wanted it to be a surprise. My youngest has taken up piano during COVID and has been practicing songs from this holiday ballet. So, as soon as we walked into the lobby, and she heard the music playing, her eyes lit up, and she couldn't wait to walk into the main area where the immersive experience was taking place. My oldest saw that this was the same location we saw the Monet immersive experience, so she was excited to see how this holiday immersive experience was. Even though my girls were the oldest kids in the room, they enjoyed the experience just as much as the little kids who were dancing all around, crawling and moving about the floor, as they followed the dancers and animations dance across the oversized projector screens.
There weren't many benches to sit on like other immersive experiences we have done, but that wasn't an issue, as this holiday themed immersive experience is better experienced walking around and/or dancing about. You can't help but want to pretend you are a ballerina as you watch the ballet dancers dance all about.
We had a blast at the Immersive Nutcracker: A Winter Miracle experience.
As we left the gift shop where we bought a few souvenirs from the experience, as well as other fun Monet, Frida Kahlo and Van Gogh gifts (all immersive shows similar to this one that have been in Boston), we stopped to take a few photos with the fun festive holiday props set up in the lobby for all to take selfies and photos with.
What a fun way to get into the holiday spirit, by taking in this immersive experience. Right now this experience is touring select cities all across the United States including Boston, and tickets are on sale now.
If you are looking for something fun to do with your whole family or are planning a weekend getaway to Boston soon for the holidays, I highly recommend you check out the Immersive Nutcracker: A Winter Miracle Experience. It is an experience not to be missed, and one the whole family will enjoy!
