20th Century Studios’ and New Regency’s Amsterdam, written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker David O. Russell (Silver Linings Playbook, Joy and American Hustle), arrives early on all major digital platforms on November 11 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on December 6.
Last night after the girls went to bed, my husband and sat down to watch 20th Century Studios’ and New Regency’s "Amsterdam," which is now available on most major digital platforms. I ave been looking forward to watching this movie, which was written and directed by acclaimed David O. Russell since I saw the trailer for the movie earlier this year. Not only do this this director's movies, but if you watch the trailer below you will see that this movie has a star studded cast including Christian Bale, Rami Malek, Magot Robbie and Robert DeNiro, to name just a few. Taylor Swift is also in the movie!
This movie is a combination of a comedy and crime thriller that deals with love, friendship and solving a who done it crime. The movie was a treat to watch, and the star studded cast really work together and suck you in from the start, as you following along and try and figure out who offed the beloved general. Don't worry I will not spoil things for you. What I will say, though, is that this movie while a crime thriller was a more a witty comedic piece for me. My husband and I were laughing as we watched all the questioning going on and the cast of characters interacting with each other. By the end of the movie, we were sad it was over, but happy with the way the movie ended.
If you are looking for a fun new movie to watch, or have been eagerly awaiting the release of "Amsterdam," now is the time to watch it on Digital, before it arrives on 4K Ultra, DVD, and Blu-ray on Dec. 6th.
