Film Synopsis

"Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder finds the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – one of self-discovery. But his efforts are interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.

Like I said, we were stuck indoors this past weekend with the much needed rain, so we watched Thor: Love and Thunder for the first time...and LOVED IT!  As soon as the movie was over, my two girls were asking when we would be watching it again, as it was that good. Then, they asked if we had access to any special features or bonus content to watch.  We ended up checking out the bonus content (the gag reel was my personal favorite), before my girls started the movie over to watch on their own while I made dinner.  I was able to catch the tail end of the movie for the second time and wished I had sat for the movie again like they did, as it really is an entertaining one.  Even though it is the start of a new work/school week, we are counting down the days until Friday arrives, as we plan to watch this movie again for our family movie night. :-)  If your family loves Marvel Studios movies and Thor, then I highly recommend you pick up the digital copy, or pre-order the Blu-ray or DVD, which arrives in stores and online on September 27th.  This is one of those movies the whole family will sit for and enjoy.
