The other night my family was trying to decide on a movie to watch for our weekly Friday night pizza and movie nights.  It seemed like we had watched all the movies on the different streaming networks, and there weren't any new movies recently released that we hadn't already seen.  Then, I remembered I had "Legacy Peak" to screen from Pure Flix, and thought it would be the perfect family movie night film...and, it sure was!  By the end of the movie, everyone gave it two thumbs up, and my youngest was quick to ask if we could watch it again over the weekend.  And, when I woke Saturday AM, I found she had gotten up early just to watch it again, as it was that good!

"Legacy Peak" was such a hit with my family because it was an inspiring family adventure that was full of thrills, as well as highs and lows.  You found yourself rooting not only for Jason and Noelle's kids to make it safely to the cabin, but when all hope seemed to be gone, you found yourself hooping for a miracle and God's direction to lead them all to safety.  There were so many twists and turns with the story line, making you not want to take your eyes of the screen, as you didn't want to miss a single second.  Don't worry I will not give away too many spoilers.  What I will say, though, is this movie has so many great positive messages that you can take away from the film, and that lead to open discussions with your family after viewing it.  We really had a great talk with our girls after the movie about family, perseverance, pushing past your fears, not giving up, and how family is not just blood related.  My girls really felt for Jason and hoped that Noelle's kids would grow to love him just like Noelle does.  And, once their perfect family trip starts to fall apart, they hoped even more for the kids to trust themselves, Jason and God, in order to pull through.  The true meaning of family and staying united it tested in this movie, and it one of those movies not to be missed.  We sat and watched it again together as a family on Sunday night, and it was even better than the first time viewing it.  We can't wait to watch it again soon.  This is definitely one of those movies you will not grow tired of, and want to watch time and again, as it is truly an inspirational family movie, that will bring kids and adults together for a wholesome film and great discussion thereafter.
