"Army Ranger Briggs (Channing Tatum) and Lulu (a Belgian Malinois) buckle up for a road trip down the Pacific Coast in hopes of making it to a fellow soldier’s funeral on time. Along the way, they’ll drive each other crazy, break a handful of laws, narrowly escape death and learn to let down their guards in order to have a fighting chance of finding happiness."
I am so excited that Dog is now available to own on Blu-ray and Digital, as this was the first movie I took my whole family to when we were able to venture back out to the movie theaters. We didn't care what we were watching -- just wanted to be able to enjoy our monthly movie night's outs finally. But, we were in for a real treat when this movie started playing. Being an animal loving family, especially partial to dogs, it was love at first sight seeing Lula, a Belgian Malinois appear on the screen. And, it wasn't bad watching Channing Tatum as Army Ranger Briggs for a couple hours either. :-) This family-friendly movie will definitely pull at your heartstrings, so if you easily cry like my youngest daughter and I, you will want to make sure you have tissues handy.
Watch the trailer below to see what this movie is all about, and why you should pick it up and share with your family this weekend for family movie night...
Doesn't this look like an amazing movie? Not only was the story line great, but the music mixed throughout the film will have you tapping your feet and wanting to sing and dance about. This is the perfect movie for dog lovers and those who love movies that show the unlikely bond and friendship between man and animal. We loved this movie when we saw it in theaters, and have been waiting for it to arrive on Blu-ray so that we could watch it again and again.
I know that once you see Dog with your family, you will love it, and want to watch it time and again. We are so looking forward to movie night this Friday night to watch it again...and, then probably again over the weekend. :-)
