This movie has been top on both of daughters' lists of must see movies, and they were over the movie excited the other day when I told them I would be getting an advance screener of the movie so that we could watch and review it for my blog.  They had both been counting down the days until Jan. 18th, when they wanted me to take them to the store so they could pool their money and buy the Blu-ray to bring home and watch. I still expect them to want to buy the movie so they have for in the car and when they visit and stay at their grandparents...but, for now, they were excited to be able to see it before it arrives on Blu-ray and DVD. Last night after dinner, we sat and watched this movie together.  I have to admit, I am not usually a fan of movies with sequels or when they turn my favorite childhood movies and shows into updated versions for newer generations, but after sitting for The Addams Family 2 movie with my family, I am happy I gave it a chance as it was really great. Personally, I found it even better than the first The Addams Family. I really liked how Morticia wants to bring the family closer and enjoy quality time together before the kids grow up and move away.  So, she plans a family vacation...which, you know when you plan a family vacation, nothing ever goes wrong, right?!  Well, get ready for an adventurous vacation the Addams family will be sure to remember for years to come, as they embark on a vacation of all vacations.  You and family will be glued to the screen as you tag along on this wild vacation, full of laughs and fun.  Both of my girls gave this movie two thumbs up, and even my husband was chatting with them as the credits rolled about his favorites parts.  We can't wait to watch this movie again, and my girls are still counting down until the DVD and Blu-ray release, so they can grab a copy for the car, for on the go fun and entertainment. :-) If your family loves the first animated The Addams Family movie, then I highly recommend you check out this new release in the franchise. It is definitely one movie in hopes of many more, not to be missed.
