This is the perfect time of year to gather your family together and watch a wholesome family-friendly holiday movie. And, do I have the perfect movie for you to check out -- Ace and the Christmas Miracle, which recently released to DVD, On Demand and Digital back on Nov. 16th.  This past weekend I watched this holiday movie with my family, and it was an instant hit with everyone, adults including.  The movie centers around a horse that talks, but can only be heard by a kindhearted con man Tony, after he bumps heads with the horse. Once they can start communicating with each other, then the real fun of the story begins to play out.

Like many holiday movies, there is a problem that needs to be fixed or Christmas will not be Christmas. And, in the case of Amanda and her son, they are about to lose their family home/horse farm. But, with a New Year's Day derby offering a $1 million dollar prize, this may be the break both Amanda and Tony need to get their lives back on track and to be able to enjoy a happily ever after...or at least the holidays like they should with family and those they love.

This movie is silly and will also pull at your heartstrings, as you find yourself hoping that Tony and Ace can pull off a win at the derby so that they can collect the cash prize.  You really don't want to see Amanda and her son to have to lose everything -- but, it is up to a talking horse a con man who has a change of heart, if they want a miracle to happen.  Don't worry, I will not spoil the ending...all, I will say is that you will be happy to watched this movie, and it will become a holiday film you will want to watch year after year with your family.  My girls and I can't wait to watch it again, as the holidays near...it is that good! :-)

SYNOPSIS:

"This quirky holiday comedy means fun for every member of the family! Deep in debt to Big Freddie, kindhearted con man Tony gets a chance to change his life when he meets Amanda (Brande Roderick, “Baywatch”), mother of young Daniel. She wants to hire Tony to kidnap her brother’s horse Ace (voiced by Jon Lovitz) – but after Tony and Ace bump heads, Tony finds he can communicate with the wisecracking nag. Can Ace convince the other racehorses to help Tony get rich at the New Year’s Day derby?"
