Does your child like dinosaurs and hand puppets? If you said, "Yes," to both, then I have the perfect book for you to pick up and share with them - "Gigantosaurus: Roar, Giganto, Roar!" This popular book turned television series for kids is perfect for little dino fans. The characters are cute and playful, and the stories are easy to understand. And, don't get me started on the amazing full color illustrations that really bring the stories to life. Now, pair it with a hand puppet, and kids will go crazy for this book.
Even though my youngest is almost 10 years old, she is still a huge dinosaur lover, and will watch television and animated series about them, and needs to get her hands on any and all dino related books, even if they are board and picture books. She loves looking at the illustrations and any interactive books like this just make reading the books and acting out the stories that much more fun. So, when I shared this book with built in hand puppet with her, she couldn't wait to read it. She giggled as she put her hand through the puppet and started to read the story. The board book is based on the TV series, "Gigantosaurus. Gigantosaurus, and is a real treat to read. The addition of the puppet makes this a great book to share for little ones, as it will catch and keep their attention from start to finish. My daughter loved this book, and said she plans to keep it and use it when she starts babysitting in a couple years, as she knows little dino fans will go crazy for it. ;-)
With the holidays fast approaching, this would make for a great book to leave under the tree for your little one to find on Christmas morning. Once they see the built in hand puppet, they will want to try it out for themselves, before asking you to read it to them, time and time again. :-)
More about this book:
Dinosaurs are experts at roaring, and Rocky, Tiny, Mazu, and Bill are eager to have a contest to see who can roar the best. But they need another participant to round out the contest, and fierce Giganto is asleep! Can the dinos wake him up and make him roar?
Little readers are invited to get into the act with the help of an attached Giganto puppet that pokes through the scenes helping him snore, chew, chomp a favorite snack, and even dance when Tiny sings. But what they’re really after is much louder than that!
