My daughters were super excited to read this book when it arrived at our doorstep, as Fluffy McWhiskers is such a cute fluff ball of a cat. As they read through the pages and saw Fluffy McWhiskers, they found their hearts melting for this adorable kitten, as they hoped Fluffy would be able to find happiness and a friend.
They were smiles by the time they reached the end of the story, and said if they met Fluffy, they would be instant friends. Cat lover or just plain old animal lovers will really take a liking to this picture book, which like I said earlier, has a great message for kids, and it is one that kids will pick up on, and that you as a parent or caregiver to discuss further. I read this book to my girls a few times so far at bedtime, and we had great conversations about true friends and self acceptance. I highly recommend this book, and know once you share it with your kids, it will become a favorite in your house, too.
This is Fluffy—an adorable kitten. So adorable, in fact, that anyone who sees her will spontaneously explode into balls of sparkles and fireworks. KABOOM! Poof.
Poor Fluffy doesn’t want anyone to get hurt, but everything she tries, even a bad haircut, just makes her cuter! So Fluffy runs away someplace no one can find her. Find out if there’s any hope for Fluffy in this funny and subversive story about self-acceptance and finding friendship in unlikely places."
