I was first introduced to Crazy Aaron's thinking putty a few years back when the girls went to a homeschool STEM event at our nearby library and the take home gift for the kids was a mini container of their thinking putty. After talking with the librarian, I learned how Crazy Aaron's offers an amazing selection of putty from SCENTsory to magnetic, and even glow putty. My girls really enjoyed the mini tins they were given, and were quick to ask for more. So, I headed to the Crazy Aaron's website when we got home to order the Strange Attractor magnetic storms thinking putty to use with our homeschool, along with some other tins I stashed away for prizes and to fill their stockings at Christmas wish. And, ever since, we have been huge fans of Crazy Aaron's, and are always buying up new thinking putty products to try out and enjoy.
So, when it came time to put together some great non-candy Halloween treats to showcase this year for my blog, I knew I had to include Crazy Aaron's, as we can't go a Halloween without their mini tins, and I know so many parents are looking for non-candy gift ideas that kids will enjoy time and time again. This year, I wanted to highlight a super cool thinking putty we were sent to review from Crazy Aaron's, and that I ended up ordering a few more tins, so each of my girls would have one, as well as my husband, who kept stealing the sample we were sent.
If you follow my blog regularly, then you probably saw a recent post where I shared my youngest is going to have a Hocus Pocus birthday party in November, and will also be Sarah, one of the Sanderson sisters from the ever popular Hocus Pocus movie, which is celebrating 20 years this year. And, if that wasn't enough, they recently announced that production has started on a sequel to the movie, and it is filming in Providence, RI, right near us. My youngest was super excited to learn this, and was so hoping she could have been an extra...or at least go down and see the Sanderson sisters back at it. I told her we will have to see. But, in the interim, she is enjoying her 4” Ghostwriter Hocus Pocus thinkiing putty from Crazy Aaron’s.
Abracadabra! There's plenty of magic to go around with Hocus Pocus Thinking Putty. This shimmering orange putty turns bright purple with the Glow Charger.
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! Turn out the lights and it glows a spell blinding green. Ages 3+

If you are a Hocus Pocus fan or know someone who is, this is definitely a neat little gift to surprise them with. And, with Halloween fast approaching, this and other fun Halloween-themed thinking putty from Crazy Aaron's would make for a great non-candy gift idea to gift to your kids and grandkids.
Or, if you are like me and buy back/exchange your child's candy loot with a prize or gift, Crazy Aaron's thinking putty would make for the perfect gift to made a trade for candy with. My girls love this putty, and spend hours day in and day out playing with it. We always have a tin or two on the coffee table for the girls or my husband or I to grab and play with while watching TV or looking to pass time. It is so fun to stretch and twist and play with, and never gets old.
You can learn more about the Hocus Pocus Ghostwriter thinking putty, as well as other thinking putty products from Crazy Aaron's by visiting their website https://crazyaarons.com/. And, while you are there, why not consider starting your holiday shopping early? These thinking putty tins -- regular and mini size make for great stocking stuffer ideas. :-)
