One good thing that has come out of the COVID pandemic is that I have been able to catch up and empty most of my DVR recordings. I was so far behind in movies and shows, that some series even wrapped before I even got through the first season or two. And, once I was done binging everything I wanted to see, I was in search of new stuff to watch. Thanks to CW, I was able to get hooked on The Flash, which my husband, youngest daughter and I have been watching from Season 1 up until the last season. And, when we weren't watching The Flash together, my guilty pleasure at night when everyone was in bed sleeping, was watching Batwoman, another hit series on CW. I was able to binge the first season thanks to a DVD sent to me earlier. But, I had been waiting to be able to sit and watch the complete second season without commercial interruptions. I don't know about you, but, while I like streaming services, I hate all the extra duplicate commercials they tack on in between shows. And, you can never fast forward through them. So, when I find myself wanting to binge something without commercials, I turn to DVDs of a series to make is less painful on me, and to help me cover more ground episode viewing wise.
So, when I heard they were releasing the second complete season to Batwoman on Blu-ray and DVD, I had to get my hands on a copy. The kind folks at Warner Bros. Home Entertainment sent along a screener for me to watch. And, for the past week, I have been watching all 18 episodes of season 2. I have to say, I am loving this season more than the first. The story lines and action really is over the top, and leaves you on the edge of your seat with each episode. And, I am so happy I waited until the DVD was available to watch, as each episode ended like a cliffhanger, and I couldn't push pause on my viewing, as I needed to see what happened next.
If you are a fan of superheroes, especially ones like Batwoman, and are looking for a new series to get hooked on, then I highly recommend you pick up both the complete season 1 and now the newest DVD/Blu-ray release of Season 2 to start binging and enjoying. Once you get through the first episode in this hit CW series, you will love it, just as much as I do, and want to keep watching. :-) Just wait and see!
