I can't believe how fast summer went by? How about you? Only six more days until Sept. 1st....which is just crazy. Last year with Covid, things seems to go at a snail's pace. And, now, the days/months are zooming by. Just the other day we were driving around and saw that the Spirit Halloween store near us was preparing to open up early this year. I guess with Halloween being cancelled for us last year, they are hoping to finally have a good business season with kids and adults going out to trick or treat, and to Halloween parties. While I am still on the fence about trick or treating this year, it doesn't mean I am not going to be decking out our house with Halloween decorations, baking Halloween and fall-themed treats, watching Halloween themed movies with my family, etc. And, now I can say that I will also being playing a fun new game that became an instant hit with my family last weekend when we played it for the first time during our weekly family game night.
Zombie Chase from PlayMonster is the perfect game to play come October when your family is getting into the Halloween spirit, as well as be one of those games your kids pull down from the shelf and ask to play time and time again. This game is perfect for 2-6 players, and is geared towards ages 7 and up.
Even before we set up the game, the girls were excited to play the game just based on the colorful box art. Setup was easy, and after reading the instructions out loud, we were off and playing, and having so much fun

Just like the game title suggests, this game is all about racing around the board game catching the zombies. This really is a fun game, and will have kids and adults wanting to play again and again. We spent over an hour playing the game the first time around, and have since continued to play it.
My girls will play the two of them, or wait until either my husband or I are free in the evening. They say it is even more fun with more players, as you get to switch teams if you become a zombie. There is a real rush to this game that you will feel as you roll the dice and start moving around the board. Leave it to the folks at PlayMonster to come up with another fun game that kids and adults will enjoy playing together.
Prior to this game, we didn't have a good game to play around Halloween. But, thanks to PlayMonster and their Zombie Chase game, now we do!
If your family loves board games and zombies, then you will definitely want to pick up this game for your next family game night, and/or to get in the Halloween spirit this year. Once you play this game, you'll see why my family and so many other families love Zombie Chase.
