Have you found yourself without a good movie to watch recently, as you have binge watched everything on your streaming channels? It has seemed that way for my girls, especially with being home 24/7. So, when I was asked to review The War with Grandpa recently, I jumped at the opportunity, not only as it would give the girls something new to watch, but after watching the trailer below, I found myself wanting to see it, as it looked a cute family movie. And, if you are a fan of Robert De Niro and Christopher Walken, you will love seeing them in this movie, especially the dodge ball scene. Don't worry, I will not give any spoils, but I will say, I was laughing until I was crying at this part of the movie.
This movie is filled with so many hilarious scenes from beginning to end, while also mixing up a sweet story about family and taking in an elderly parent. My girls thought this movie was so funny, and have since watched it a handful of times. They especially liked the ending with the bonus outtakes and the music video of sorts. It has been awhile since a good family comedy has been released, that has A list stars.
