Has Covid made you start working out at home, or taking up running or going for long walks or hikes, to break up the craziness of having everyone home, or being cooped up in the house with nothing to do? My husband, who used to go daily to the gym at his work, is now working from home, and turned our basement into his workout area, as he didn't was to give up his fitness regime. He does yoga downstairs, as well as lifts weights, rides a bike, etc. And, now my girls are getting into working out, after watching him doing it, and feeling so good after. When my husband and girls are not in the home gym my husband put together, we are getting out more as a family and going on hikes or long walks around the neighborhood.
Sadly, before the pandemic, I was just too busy with busing the girls all around for homeschool classes and extra curricular stuff to have time or the desire to go to a nearby gym to workout. But, now that we are all home, I am finding that I have more time to do things. Like many people when the pandemic started and we were all on home quarantine, I was baking and cooking up a storm. And, you know what happens when you eat a lot and don't exercise...it all settles around your waistline and bottom. So, after a few months of just eating and not exercising or at least trying to burn off calories, I found myself wanting to do some sort of physical fitness each day, as it made me feel good, and was good for my overall health. But, with a new exercise regime comes aches and pains and soreness all over my body that I didn't have before I started to exercise. And, we are still staying around the house, making it impossible for me to call and set up a massage appointment to work out all the kinks, so I had to search for other ways to help bring relief to my aches and pain.
