Disney’s Live-Action ‘Mulan’ Comes to 4K Ultra HD™, Blu-ray™ and DVD, and Disney’s Animated ‘Mulan’ Comes to 4K Ultra HD™ for the First Time (Review)

Friday night we enjoyed a wonderful family movie night with a Disney double feature. We started the evening with the animated Mulan movie, and then followed up with the new live action Mulan movie.  Even though this movie was released a short time ago for rental, it was only recently released to Blu-ray, DVD and 4K Ultra HD on Tuesday, Nov. 10th.  My girls have been eagerly awaiting the release of the new live action movie, as many of their friends rented the movie and loved it, and haven't stopped raving about.  And, I have to say now that we watched it, I can see why their friends have been raving about it, as it really was an amazing movie. Not only was the story line great, but the scenery and backdrops really pulled you in and made you feel like you were in on the action.  I found myself on the edge of my seat multiple times during the movie, and was rooting for Mulan from start to finish.  And, when the movie was over we had fun comparing the two movie and deciding which movie we liked more, the live action or the animated one.  While I have loved the animated movie since it released, and have seen it countless times, I have to say that after watching the new live action movie, this one is now my favorite Mulan movie. My girls still are fans of the animated movie, but agreed that the live action movie was really good.  Have you seen the new Mulan live action movie yet? If so, what did you think of it?
