If you are looking for a cute holiday-themed book to add to your family's Christmas book advent this year, do I have the book for you...Claris: Holiday Heist: The Chicest Mouse in Paris. This cute book was published back on October 6th, and is sure to be a hit this holiday season with families, who love reading holiday themed books together. I have shared over the years come the holidays how my family does both book and movie advents, as we count down to Christmas. We love to include classics and family favorites, as well as new releases to our stack of books and movies that we individually wrap and label. And, this year, my girls have agreed that Claris: Holiday Heist: The Chicest Mouse in Paris is a must read and include in my book advent.
We received a copy of this cute hardcover the other day, and before I could sit down with my girls and read it, they snuggled up together on the couch and read it together. And, when they finished the last page, they came running to me and said, we have to read this at bedtime, before telling me all about Claris. After hearing them rave about the book, I couldn't wait until bedtime to read the book with them, so we headed to the couch and read it together. And, after reading the first few pages, I could see why my girls loved this story about Claris, the mouse and the holiday heist. Not only was the story fun, but the illustrations were beautifully done, and really made the story come to life. We found ourselves lingering on each page to take in all the detailing of the illustrations.
Since receiving this book to review, my girls have read it a handful of times more on their own, and we have read it a few more times together. And, just yesterday, we wrapped it up and added it to our stack of books for our holiday book advent. Now, for December to get here, so we can read this cute book again. If you are looking for a holiday book with beautiful illustrations, I highly recommend Claris: Holiday Heist: The Chicest Mouse in Paris.

About the Author: Megan Hess is an acclaimed fashion illustrator who works with some of the most prestigious fashion designers and luxury brands around the world, such as Chanel, Dior, Cartier, Montblanc and Tiffany & Co.
