YOU Can be Anything YOU Want to be, From A to Z!
I received this book a couple of weeks ago, and couldn't wait to share it with you all, as well as my girls. Even though my girls are older and reading on their own, I wanted to share this book with them as a reminder that they can dream big and be anything they want to be.
This was the first time reading a board book in this popular ABC for Series, but I hope to check out the other ones as I really enjoyed this one. What I liked about this new book in particular is that it includes boys and girls of all races and ethnic backgrounds. They had girls doing what we would expect to be male-dominated careers, and vice versa. As I flipped through the of pages of this book with my girls, they learned about new careers they never thought they could do like a robotics engineer, youth director, wildlife conservationist, and even a quantitative analyst. I liked seeing my girls' eye light up as we learned about the different careers, and how both boys and girls could do them. Now, my girls are rethinking what they want to be based on this book, and picturing themselves in the fun new careers they just learned about.
If you are looking for a cute A to Z board book to share with your little ones that will introduce them the to jobs both men and women can do - no matter your race or ethnic background -- then, I highly recommend this book.
