We love counting down to holidays like Halloween with fun movies and books to enjoy together. So, when I heard that National Geographic Kids was releases a fun Weird by True! Halloween book in September, I had to get my hands on a copy to share with my girls. And, thanks to the publisher, I made my girls' day a couple weeks ago when this book arrived at our door. My girls were planning out their month long countdown by pulling out all our Halloween-themed movies and books. When they saw this new release, they smiled, as they were hoping to add a few new releases to their countdown, and this was perfect!
I don't know about you, but when it comes to fun and interesting books to read with my girls, or to gift them at their birthdays and holidays, I always find that National Geographic Kids offers a wonderful selection of books that are not just fun to read, but are also educational, and really keep my girls' attention as they read each book from cover to cover. And, this new release was no exception...as soon as we sat down to read this book, my girls didn't want me to stop or put the book down. They found all the spooky facts really interesting, including some of the silly ones.
Here are just a few standouts from the "Weird by True! Halloween" book we have read a handful of times since receiving...
