A couple weeks ago, the folks at Macmillan Kids launched a Fur-Ever Bad Kitty Read-Along Campaign that challenges their followers to read all of the BAD KITTY chapter books this fall! When I heard about this campaign, I knew my girls would be excited to join the challenge, as they have read almost every BAD KITTY book, and are eagerly awaiting the upcoming December release, which will be in color.  My girls first stumbled upon BAD KITTY books last summer when the library's summer reading program kicked off, and the girls earned a free book a week when they completed their required reading. One of the week's my girls each got a different BAD KITTY book -- their first. And, after reading the books (they swapped books with each other after reading) -- they were hooked, and wanted to read more.  Since then, they have all the books that have been published and are working their way through the books.  And, now with this fun Fur-Ever Bad Kitty Read-Along Campaign, they are even more excited to challenge themselves to read them all by the end of October -- and, right now they are down to only 2 more books each.  This week they are both going to read the "Bad Kitty for President," which is only fitting with our presidential election coming up in a few short weeks.
