New to DVD: PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups Charged Up + Fun and Easy Crafts

The other day, the girls beat me to the mailbox, and before I could grab my camera to do an unboxing video, the girls were tearing into a box that was addressed to them. I was hoping to grab the box and surprise them with the contents inside, but like they said, "It says our name, so it is ours"...and, they were right...but, I am the one that was going to write up about the contents inside.  That, however, didn't phase them, as they were so excited with what was in the box....PAW Patrol goodies including a new officially licensed PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups Charged Up toy vehicle with figure from Spinmaster, as well as Crayola crayons, markers, coloring books, and so much more.  



The girls couldn't stop smiling as they pulled all the goodies out of the box, and then laid them out on the table to admire, before deciding what to do first. :-)





If you haven't heard, PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups Charged Up is now available on DVD, and is a must have for PAW Patrol fans.  My girls have already watched it over a dozen times since receiving the week earlier to review, and can't get enough of it.  Just this AM, while they waiting for the new PAW Patrol episode featuring a new pup, REX, who is a handicap pup with wheels, they sat and watched this DVD in its entirety, while making their own PAW Patrol badges out of felt and the templates that were included in their box of goodies.  They wanted to act out some of their favorite parts from their favorite Mighty Pups Charged Up episodes, as well as the new episode which would be airing at noon time on Nick Jr.

With summer now in full swing, and many families, including ours, still self quarantining and staying away from large crowds, arts and crafts have become a must to keep kids of all ages busy when they can't be outside due to it being too hot or raining out. My girls have covered my fridge with coloring pages they have torn out of their many PAW Patrol coloring books, or sheets they have printed from online to color and display, as well as filled it with Crayola Mess Free marker pages they have colored in and are proud of.  And, now thanks to this box of PAW Patrol goodies they were sent to celebrate the recent release of PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups Charged Up, my walls are now being plastered with their unique and creative arts and crafts they are coming up with to celebrate their favorite PAW Patrol pups.



So many of the girls' friends have been messaging them as they are bored being home after finding out their summer camps and plans have been cancelled.  But, thankfully, my girls are helping get their friends out of these funks by sharing fun crafts they can do with supplies they probably have laying around the house. And, many of the girls' friends love PAW Patrol like they do, so they have been sharing the crafts they have done, and even done DIY tutorials walking them step by step through crafts including the super easy and super fun PAW Patrol badge.  My youngest daughter has made badges for all the pups and loves pretending to be the PAW Patrol pups with her older sister, while they sit and watch the new PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups Charged Up or one of the new episodes of this popular animated series airing on Nick Jr.



If you have a PAW Patrol fan in your life, and are looking for ways to keep them busy during the upcoming summer months, I wanted to share some of the fun things you can do with them, without breaking the bank, which include coloring packs and sets from Crayola featuring the PAW Patrol pups.

Like I said, my girls have only had the DVD for a little over a week, but have already watched it in its entirety over a dozen times...and, I don't see them getting bored of it any time soon.
