With everyone home on quarantine, we are finding ourselves watching more and more television. What else are we supposed to do with all this extra time on our hands? I know for myself, I was never big on sitting down and watching television, until late in the evening when everyone was in bed, and I had some quiet time to myself. We had a 48" LED television, which worked fine for me, as I was only watching television for a short amount of time. But, my husband and girls kept talking about wanting a new television, especially around the holidays when all the new televisions were out on display and they could see how crisp the picture quality was on the newer televisions compared to the one we had.
From that point on, my husband did research online to find the best television. Samsung was top of his list, as their televisions ranked high with so many online review sites, and had 4+ star reviews by consumers. The Samsung television had so many built in features and options available, it made it a no brainer to buy one of their televisions once we made the move. And, what better time than now, being stuck in the house, watching more television, than now, to get a new television.
Picture Quality:

Just this AM, we were watching Toy Story 4 for the second time, and my youngest daughter and husband couldn't get over the crisp pictures from this animated movie. Woody and the others looked so lifelike it was incredible to watch. We have found that the amazing picture quality of The Frame makes us want to go back and watch all our favorite movies and television shows, as the old television we had didn't do the picture quality any justice.

You would think with what I have mentioned above regarding picture quality would sway you to buy this TV, I have one more cool feature to share with you -- adaptive picture. What do I mean by this? Depending on the lighting in your room, the TV uses adaptive picture to optimize and analyze the picture, adjusting the picture, so you have an amazing viewing experience, day or night. Wow!, huh? I couldn't believe this when I tried it out for the first time. Being a night owl, I am always trying to dim the television as not to wake up everyone in the house. But, now I don't have to fidget with the colors and lighting as the adaptive picture feature does it for me. I could go on and on about the picture of this television, but I want to move to the smart features, as they will knock your socks off!
Smart Features:
- This television is equipped with Smart TV Powered by TIZEN™ with Bixby Voice, Apps and Full Web Browser. It also works with Alexa and Google Assistant, and your smartphone. You can mirror your mobile device or laptop running on Windows 10 to the television. We have been using this feature for our girls' online ZOOM classes, and it makes it feel like the girls are sitting in class with their friends and teachers.
- The Frame by Samsung also offers Smart Hub, which includes Universal Guide and TV Plus.
- If you are a gamer, you will love the Real Game Enhancer+ offered in the game mode. My husband hooked up his X-Box and loves playing his video games as the picture quality and movement of the scenes are so lifelike and smooth.
- Another cool smart feature is the Active Voice Amplifier, which adjusts the voices in the scenes, so you don't miss out on what they are saying, even with others talking in the room or nearby. The dialogue remains clear and crisp without you having to say, "Huh, what did they say?"
- The Frame by Samsung also offers Multi View, which splits your TV screen in two, allowing you to check sports stats on one side, and watch news or your daily workout on the other. Pretty cool if you ask me!
- This television offers multiple voice assistants allowing you to control your television with your voice. All of this is integrated into the Frame.
- No more fumbling looking for a specific remote for your television, as the Frame offers OneRemote for total control. The remote itself is slim, and can automatically detect and control all compatible connected devices and content. Using the remote is a breeze -- you don't have to get a lesson from your kids on how to switch between modes or use it, like some other television remotes out there. I for one, love that I am now down to just one remote, and it is slim and fits nicely in your hand when using.
- When you are not watching the television, or you walk away to do something the Frame detects you are no longer there viewing the screen, and switches to art mode. After a pre-defined period of time, it shuts off.
- Even though the television weights 56.2 lbs. it will hang well on a wall, and comes with a wall mounting system, which is a breeze to set up. we have opted to keep it on a television stand, but my husband has read reviews of those who chose to mount it to the wall or above their fireplaces, and they all rave about how easy it was and how flush it sits against the wall with a no gap wall mount. It really does look like an art frame ready to be admired all hours of the day.
Like I said, I am so glad I listened to my family and upgraded our television. It has truly upped our viewing experience and made it more enjoyable to say the least. My girls, especially love watching all their favorite animated movies in a clean and clear picture.
My husband loves his video gaming experience, and could spend all day on it. I am just in awe of the art mode and the total picture viewing experience. It is unlike anything I have experienced before. And, I have family members with televisions around this size, and the picture quality of their televisions is nothing like what I am viewing. The scenes flows effortlessly across my screen, and you can view the television from all angles, instead of just face on. As you can tell by my thoughts shared above, I am giving the Frame by Samsung 5 stars. It exceeds all my expectations in picture and sound quality, and the smart features and art mode put this television in a class all its on.
