The Lies Continue To Haunt As the DVD Becomes Available Today!
Last month I was looking for a new show to start watching and asked family and friends for recommendations. Many of them kept talking about Big Little Lies, and how this is a must watch series, as it features not only a stellar cast including Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep, but the story lines are also engaging and will pull you in and get you hooked. I remembered seeing previews about the series when it first released, but never sat to watch it. That was, until recently, when I was gifted the complete first season as a Christmas gift. Within the first 10 minutes of watching the first episode, I was hooked, and couldn't stop watching the show. Usually, I don't go crazy and binge watch a show or its' episodes, but I couldn't help but want to see what happened next with all the drama, twists and turns with the plot, secrets and lies being told and revealed. This really is a one of those juicy shows that you find yourself on the edge of your seat and wondering what will happen next. I stopped trying to guess what happened next, as I learned after the first few episodes that what I thought or expected to happen, rarely does, and I love how the story lines go in another direction -- it really makes for a great show to get hooked on and want to watch.
Like I said, I was gifted the complete first season of Big Little Lies for Christmas, and have been watching watching all the episodes, so I would be ready for when the complete second season released to DVD today. I knew that once I had this new release in my hand, I would want to watch it, and needed to be caught up with the first season first. Thankfully, this past weekend after a little binging of the episodes, I am finally caught up and have started to watch the second season, thanks to the kind folks at Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, who sent me a screener of the Big Little Lies: The Complete Second Season on DVD to review. I am only on the third episode, but am loving it so far. I am so glad I gave this show a chance and was gifted the first season to watch. It is now my go-to show to watch, and I am looking forward to "me time" each night to get in an episode or two of this show, so I can chat about my favorite parts with family and friends, who are also hooked on this show.
