Do you have a favorite book you like to read with your kids when Christmas rolls around? We have so many books that we love pulling from the bookcase to read, wrap for our holiday book advent, and leave out on the coffee table for family and friends to enjoy when they come to visit. One book that has become a staple in our family at Christmas is "The Christmas Bear," which is from the illustrator of The Grufallo.
Like I mentioned in a previous post, my girls are huge fans of The Gruffalo book, and instantly fell in love with The Christmas Bear book as the illustrations are similar to the Gruffalo characters. Plus, the book is a lift the flap book...what kid doesn't like this type of interactive book? Even though my girls are getting older and reading on their own, they love stumbling upon books that offers an interactive feel, and that is why they love this Christmas book so much.
So, when I was looking to add books to my holiday gift guide and to offer up suggestions for readers looking for new books to add to their family's holiday book advent, I stumbled upon this fun activity/sticker book that you can pair with The Christmas Bear.
About this book:
"Help the Christmas Bear find his way from Santa's workshop to Tom's house in time for Christmas morning, in this fun sticker activity book, based on the bestselling festive favourite, The Christmas Bear by Ian Whybrow and Axel Scheffler. Packed with games, activities and over four hundred stickers, The Christmas Bear Sticker Book is perfect for cosy winter evenings, car journeys or as a stocking filler - a great gift for any child."
