Can you believe it?...November is almost over. Only 13 more days until Thanksgiving, and then starts the craziness of the holidays with shopping and prepping for parties, gatherings, and Christmas Day. But, with all the craziness and stress that the holidays bring, try and slow down and make some time to make memories with your family, as the holidays really are a time to enjoy time with family and friends, and not about breaking the bank or going into debt trying to fill the tree with presents, going crazy planning and cooking up a meal fit for kings, etc. This year, we will be attending the Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, which is making a stop at the Boch Center Shubert Theatre in Boston, MA, December 6-8th.
I have always wanted to bring my girls to see this musical, and am excited that we will be going to review the show. Not only will we be seeing a great holiday musical, but we will be heading into the city and will make time to walk downtown to check out the window displays at the stores, and see the trees all lit up in the Boston Public Gardens.
If you live in or near Boston, or are looking for a fun evening or weekend getaway with your family, why not plan a trip into Boston and take in the Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical the first weekend in December. This is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit with your family, as you enjoy a classic tale told as a fun musical.
Here is more about the show, along with ticketing pricing. And, be sure to read until the end as I am offering up a family 4-pack of tickets to the Opening Night performance, Dec. 6th at 7PM.
More About Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical:
"Following four successful years of touring and more than 350 performances, the “most famous reindeer of all” from the longest running and highest rated holiday television special will fly into Boston with the critically acclaimed RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER: THE MUSICAL. The world’s most famous reindeer and a holly jolly cast of iconic characters, including Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius and the Abominable Snow Monster, will help Santa save Christmas.
The story tells the tale of a young Rudolph who, because of the appearance of his bright, shining nose, is excluded from the Reindeer Games. He flees Christmastown and meets up with new friends Hermey the Elf and Yukon Cornelius. After finding The Island of Misfit Toys, Rudolph journeys home, where a snowstorm of epic proportions is threatening Christmas. Can Rudolph rescue his family and friends and help Santa save the holiday?
Based on the animated television special “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and the stage production directed and conceived by Jeff Frank and First Stage. Script adaptation by Robert Penola. Arrangements by Timothy Splain. Orchestrations by William C. White."
