Fans of the Angry Birds movie franchise will want to make sure they pick up the new The Angry Birds 2 Movie from Sony Pictures  when it arrives on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K on Tuesday, November 12th.  We ended up seeing this movie in theaters over the summer 3 times -- it was that good!  Usually I can muster up sitting for one showing of the animated movies my girls want to see in theaters, but after seeing the first Angry Birds movie with them during one of our family movie nights, I got hooked on the movies, and like my girls, couldn't wait for a second movie to come out.  So, when it did, and we saw it for the first time, I walked out of the theater and agreed with my girls that we had to see it again, and then a third time.  We would have gone again, but by the the time we had a free day in our schedule, it was no longer in theaters.  So, we made a point to add it to the list we have going on the fridge of movies we have to pick up when they arrive on Blu-ray or DVD, to add to our collection, and watch during our weekly family movie nights.

Doesn't this look like a funny and entertaining movie for the whole family?  It really is!  My girls loved the addition of Silver, who plays a feisty yet smart bird, who loves creating things like stretchy string. It's always nice to have a little girl power in a movie, especially an animated one like this one, which has so many male-voiced characters.

And, I can't forget mentioning and sharing a cute photo of Baby Bird Hatchling Sam-Sam. 

This little hatchling stole our heart in theaters when we was this bird, and we couldn't wait to see Sam-Sam again, when we brought The Angry Birds 2 movie home.

I don't want to give too much away beyond what you saw in the theater, and what I will share below about this new The Angry Birds movie release, as I don't want to spoil anything if your family has been eagerly awaiting this movie's release to DVD and Blu-ray.  What I will say, though, is that this movie is fast paced and will keep your family engaged and entertained right up until the rolling credits.  We had so much fun watching this movie yesterday, thanks to an advance copy sent to me by the folks at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.  It made our family movie night that much more enjoyable, and we can't wait to see this movie again soon!
