Does your family have a favorite game brand? For my girls, they are all about Goliath Games, and have been since they were little and started to show interest in games. And, when they started to excited about games we started doing a family game night each Saturday night, and this has continued is one night a week the whole family looks forward to, as we shut the television off, put away our phones and electronic devices, and spend a few hours around the dining room table playing some new games and family favorites. We have made so many great family memories with our family game nights, and these game nights allow us to spend quality time together, that I cherish.
If you watch television with your kids then you have probably seen a handful of some of the popular new games from Goliath Games that will wind up on many kid's wish lists for Santa this holiday season...I know my girls who have already started their lists already have a handful of Goliath Games they want to get, so they can play with their friends, and during our family game nights. I just glanced at their wish lists, and they both have Banana Blast, Dragon Snacks and Burger Party to name a few near the top of their lists.
Recently, we were sent a sampling of some of the new games from Goliath Games to try out, and my family has been having a blast during our family game nights trying out these new games, and adding them to our must play games each Saturday. I thought I would share them with you, in case you are looking for some great family game night games to pick and gift to your kids this holiday season.
About Googly Eyes:
"Googly Eyes is the hilarious family game that challenges your vision and leaves you googling for more! Put on the zany, vision-altering google eye glasses and start to draw while your team tries to guess what you’re drawing. Is that an igloo or a turtle? A birthday cake or a fortress? Players take turns drawing and guessing, so everyone gets a chance to wear the glasses. The glasses come with three sets of lenses that range from mild changes to mind-blowing fun, so no one can see (or draw) straight–your vision will bounce off of the lenses.
Googly Eyes is a fun twist on classic drawing games that lets players of different ages and skill levels compete on equal terms, since the goggles make it fun and challenging for everyone.
Unlike any other drawing game you don’t need to be an artist, and the rules are simple. Just roll the die and move–the space you land on tells you which color lenses to use (easy, medium, or hard). Then pick a card, set the timer, and start drawing. If your team guesses correctly you get to roll and move again; if not, then you stay where you are on the board. The first team to reach Finish wins."
For 4-16 players, ages 7 and up.
Game Contents:
- Colorful Game Board
- Spiffy Tablet
- Timer
- 162 Challenge Cards
- 1 Die
- 1 Pair of Glasses
- 3 Changeable Lenses: Easy, Medium & Difficult
My Thoughts:
Googly Eyes is one of the most popular and a best selling game from Goliath Games. And, after playing it with my family recently, I can see why. We couldn't stop laughing when we saw each other wearing the Googly Eyes glasses. The game itself is easy to understand and play - the real challenge comes when you change up the lenses, though -- from easy, to medium and then difficult. Like the game rules say, you don't have to be artist to play this game. You just have to draw a picture based on the card you chose for your team to guess. By wearing the silly glasses, it makes it an even playing field for all, as you will all have a difficult, but fun time, trying to draw your pictures. This is where the real fun of the game is, and why this game is such a best seller. You can't help but not laugh as you draw or try to guess what is being drawn. And, if you can't get it, once the card is shown to all showing what was trying to be drawn, you will laugh more trying to see this is the picture drawn.
I am so happy we have Googly Eyes, and will be pulling this game out this holiday season when family and friends come to visit. We love sharing fun games like this that less us group people into teams, and have them keep against each other. Usually we do kids against adults, but this is one of those games that would be fun to play with mixed teams. I can't wait to play with everyone, and have some great laughs!

My Thoughts:
I ended up picking up a few more of the Glowbots from Amazon after the girls worked together to put together the Wonder Woman Glowbots we were recently sent from Goliath Games. They both had so much fun adding the translucent pegs to their character to bring it to life. But, the real fun was when they were done placing the pegs and their Wonder Woman Glowbots was lit up. It looked so cool on the table in the dark. We sat for a while and watched the color changing strobing LED lights bring the Wonder Woman Glowbots to life. Each Glowbots comes with its own USB cord that you can plug into your computer or charger to charge. There are also complete, and easy to follow along instructions on placing the pegs (400 included with each Glowbots). Even though there are a lot of pegs to place, my girls worked together and were able to get it all down in less than an hour. They worked well together, and were eager to get all the pegs placed so that they could see it all lit up. And, once they were done, the glow show of their Wonder Woman Glowbots was worth their time. My youngest was quick to put the Glowbots on her dresser to admire at night, so I knew I had to buy another one for my oldest. But, while I was placing my order through Amazon, my husband caught sight of the Batman Glowbots and asked me to get him one, too. Because the Glowbots were reasonable priced, I ended up grabbing a few more, so that I could give to my girls, as well as for gifts to my cousins who are big superhero fans. If you grew up loving light brights and other peg light toys, you will love reliving your childhood with the new Glowbots from Goliath Games. And, because they are fun superheros we all love, it is hard to choose just one. You will find yourself grabbing a few Peg Packs to build, display and enjoy.
About Mr. Pop!
"It’s the original, frantic, race-to-build-a-face action game! While Mr. Pop takes a bath, race to build his face by matching the pieces to your face card. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins!

- You can play the game on your own to perfect your POP – just set the timer and go!
- Cards are color-coded for three different degrees of difficulty.
- For an added challenge, adjust the timer so you have less time to build Mr. Pop’s face.
- Easy to learn, fast-paced fun that helps develop fine motor skills.
Contents:
- 1 Bath
- 1 Body
- 1 Head
- 23 Faces Pieces
- 12 Face Cards
- Complete Instructions
My Thoughts:
This is the original "Race to Build a Face" action game, and is a must play game during our family game nights. Usually we start with this game, and it gets all in the mood to challenge each other and get our reflex and reaction speeds up to notch for the rest of the game night ahead. This game is perfect for little ones ages 4+, and will be one game that will grow with your kids. My girls are 8 and 9, and have become very competitive with games like this. They will try and speed through to finish the face card they chose before all the timer goes off and all the face pieces pop off. But, they are quick to be reminded that it isn't speed along that will have them winning a round -- they also have to be cautious and choose the right face pieces, or it will slow them down. I have to say of the recent Goliath Games we have added to our game shelf, that Mr. Pop! is one of my favorites. I continue to jump in my seat when the face pieces pop off. Then, we all laugh as we pick up the pieces and pass the tub along for the next player to try their luck.

We had so much fun trying out these new must have games from Goliath Games. And, just yesterday the girls saw a few more commercials on television for some of the other new Goliath Games that released in time for the holidays, so I am expecting them to add them to their wish lists to Santa. I love how my girls are all about games, and how they really get into playing these fun games. And, the best part besides keeping them entertained is that when they play these games, they get along so nicely and are laughing and enjoying each others companies. :-) These games also come in handy on snow days, or sick days, when the girls are stuck in the house and find themselves bored. They know they can pull one of their favorite Goliath Games from the shelf and play together, and have a blast, usually forgetting quickly how they were bored. :-)
In addition to purchasing the above mentioned games online at Amazon, you can also find these and other products from Goliath Games at most major retailers including Walmart, Target, Barnes & Noble and Toys 'R Us. So, instead of filling the tree with toys your kids will probably only play with a handful of times before the newness wears off, why not consider adding some new games to your game shelf. Like I said in the beginning, my girls really like Goliath Games and we haven't been disappointed with a game from this brand yet. They are always fun to play with as a family, or the games keep the kids entertained when they are bored and looking for something to do, or want to play a quick game with friends.
