To say that my youngest daughter is a Harry Potter fan is an understatement. Like so many other kids and adults, she lives and breathes all things Harry Potter. Her bedroom is decked out in Harry Potter bedding, she has stickers all over her walls of Harry and friends, and her dresser and tables covered with collectible figures, wands, and small play sets...most from JAKKS Pacific. And, as part of our schooling this year, the girls ended a homeschool Harry Potter class this fall, and loved it! They got to try out spells using their handmade wands, sewed their own Dobey pillows, made clay root creatures, and so much more. As part of the class, they had to choose the house they wanted to be in the pet they wanted to have. My youngest daughter was Team Gryffindor all the way, and he had to have Hedwig the owl, which is Harry's loyal companion. She kept telling her friends that she was going to have a Harry Potter themed birthday, and was hoping to get the new Harry Potter Hedwig Interactive Creature from JAKKS Pacific. After seeing a commercial for this interactive toy on television, she knew she had to get it to add it to your growing Harry Potter collection. Here is more about the new Harry Potter Hedwig Interactive Creature toy along with the video she saw, that got her excited about this new must have toy, which lots of Harry Potter fans will be asking for this holiday season...

My daughter was so excited when the folks from JAKKS Pacific surprised her a few days before her 8th birthday with this fun interactive toy. It was only fitting that when I took it out of the box to show her, she was already sitting on the couch dressed like this, watching one of her Harry Potter movies...
She couldn't wait for me to take her new interactive Hedwig out of the box to try it out. And, I she wasn't alone, because as soon it started talking and making unique owl sounds, it had our parakeet chirping and talking along to it. Both of my girls kept giggling as they heard Hedwig and their parakeet, Birdie, talking back and forth to one another. And, I wish I had the camera rolling when the bird saw this toy's head swivel back and forth for the first time...I think it shocked him! :-)
This new interactive Hedwig from JAKKS Pacific has a sensor in the stomach/chest area of the toy and when it hears clapping or your voice, it will interact with you through 12 owl sounds, as well as its heading rotates side to side. My daughter has been having a blast with her new Hedwig...she says it's much better than the plush toy she totes around, as this one has sound and moves. Now, whenever she is watching her Harry Potter movies, she holds this new Harry Potter Hedwig Interactive Creature. And, all her friends thought it was so cool when she brought it to her homeschool Harry Potter class the other day. They all took turns talking and clapping to see Hedwig interact with them. As we were leaving, I heard many of the kids telling their moms about the toy and how they wanted to add it to their wish lists for Santa. :-)
If you have a Harry Potter in your life, or are a fan yourself, then you will want to pick up the new Harry Potter Hedwig Interactive Creature. At under $20, you can't go wrong with this fun, interactive toy that also makes for a great display piece for collectors.
