This past August, a new game, Hank’s Twisted Challenge - think about it as Twister for a new generation - hit store shelves, and became an instant hit with families, including mine.  It is even poised to be a must have toy for the upcoming holiday season, hence my sharing this review/feature with you today, so you can get your hands on it now, before it flies off the shelf, and you left waiting for it to come back in stock in the new year. :-)  

I was sent this game last month, and have been enjoying playing it every chance I can with my family.  This is one of those games that will leave everyone laughing as they compete in the body contouring challenges, all to get a ball off the zigzagged wire you old in your mouth.  I wish my girls and husband would let me share the video I took of them twisting, turning and moving all about, but they said if I shared video of them, they would share snapshots of me playing it as payback.  I guess we all agree that this game is a blast to play, but maybe you want to leave the cameras/phones off while playing, as the game can get real crazy and leave everyone in tears, laughing so hard at each other.  These are times that you don't want recorded, or do you?  :-)

So how does this all work? Each player is asked to twist, bend and turn your body in crazy ways while you race to get the ball off the end of a wire zigzagged and curved in insane forms. 

Whose moves will get the ball flying off first? Players can also take game play up a notch too by using the challenge cards.

I was so excited when I first learned about this game as I was looking for some fun new games that pinned person against person in fun and wacky challenges, to include in our weekly family game night.  And, once I set up this game and explained the rules, I knew it was the game we had been looking for.  From the very first time we played Hank's Twisted Challenge, we were hooked and in love with this hilarious contort you body every which way game.  

This is one of those games you can pull out and play with the family, or when friends come to visit.  And, with the holidays fast approaching and family and friends gathering for dinner and festivities, this is the perfect game to add to the mix.  It will leave everyone laughing, and wanting a chance to wiggle their way to being named "champion."  But, don't think this is an easy move this way or that, and the ball is loose. Oh no, it is more complex than that and will have your wondering how your body could move this way and that.  I can say from playing this game non-stop for over an hour last Saturday with my family, it is also a great workout game, as you will find yourself sweating from moving all about. It is a workout you will like, and want to keep at, until you master the twisted challenges, or at least win a game.
