Is your dad a prankster, or likes receiving gag gifts for birthdays and holidays. If he likes a good laugh, and you are still looking for a Father's Day gift for him, why not consider sending him a Box of Mildly Evil Fortune Cookies from MildlyEvilShop.com.
"A box full of mildly evil fortune cookies. Sent anonymously to your enemy. Inject your victims with doses of disillusionment and paranoia as they crush the crisp shells and discover the “fortunes” within are really mildly annoying curses in disguise.
Have an annoying relative who’s a bit superstitious? A salty ex who doesn’t believe in ancestral curses? Send them these crunchy devils to make them uncomfortable. And whenever they step on a Lego and spill the coffee and mutter to themselves "CURSES!" You'll be sipping on your hot chocolate, grinning from a safe distance."

While my husband doesn't play pranks, he loves gag gifts and gifts that will leaving you laughing. So, when I learned about these mildly evil fortune cookies, I thought he would be the perfect person to try them out on. He is also a fan of Chinese restaurant fortune cookies and trying to get a good fortune, so I knew that the unexpected fortunes he would get these these joke cookies would have him wondering what is going on, and then provide a good laugh. :-)
The kind folks at the Mildly Evil Shop sent me two boxes of their fortune cookies -- one to sample, and one to giveaway --- so be sure to read until the end, to learn how you can enter my giveaway for a chance to win a box of Mildly Evil Fortune Cookies to keep for yourself, or gift to someone.
Upon receiving the cookies, I couldn't wait to crack one open to read my fortune. I had no idea what to expect, but was ready for anything. First, you may be wondering how these gag fortune cookies taste. They tasted just like ones you get at a Chinese food restaurant, sweet and crunchy. Once I was done sampling the fortune cookie, I read my fortune..."May both sides of your pillow be warm." I let out an Ewww, as I read the fortune, and then started laughing. I guess this gag fortune did what it was supposed to...it threw me for a loop with an unexpecting mildly evil fortune, while leaving me smiling and laughing at the same time.
I couldn't wait for my husband to get home so that I could offer him a fortune cookie or two. He thought I went to for lunch with the girls when he got home and saw the fortunes in the wrapper on the counter. I was in the other room, so missed him asking if he could have one. Before I know it, I heard him laughing, and knew he had had one of the fortune cookies. When I came into the kitchen, he showed me the fortune, and asked what was this? I tried to play it off like I didn't know what he was talking about, as he read me the fortune..."May your a*&hole grow tastebuds." I couldn't help but laugh at this fortune, as I tried to play off still like I had no idea what happened with the fortune. I told him that my fortune earlier was like all the others you get at a restaurant, and not vulgar like this one. Then, he tried another fortune cookie and got the fortune I got earlier about the pillow being warm on both sides. He knew something was up, and I couldn't act clueless anymore, so I shared with him about these mildly evil fortune cookies that you can send anonymously to people. I knew he was thinking in his mind of a few people he would love to send a box of these fortune cookies to, and I was doing the same. Come on, you know there is someone you are thinking about right now reading this, that you would love to gift a box of Mildly Evil Fortune Cookies to. :-)
After my husband and I had a few more fortune cookies, and read the fortunes, we were laughing so hard, it looked like we were crying. The girls walked in and wondered what we were doing. Then, they saw the fortune cookies and wanted one. Luckily, I was able to grab up the fortune slips and make up a fortune on the spot for them, as I didn't want them reading the actual fortune they got. But, then I passed it to my husband to read after the girls went in the other room, and we both burst out laughing again. These fortune cookies would be a perfect gag gift to give your dad this Father's Day, or bring to the Father's Day cookout you be attending or even hosting. Unsuspecting guests will see these innocent fortune cookies, but will be in for a surprise when they crack them open and read their fortune.
