Is it spring yet? I know we really only got our first taste of snow here in New England this past weekend, but I got my fill of it, and am good. Maybe it is because I am getting older, but I can't seem to brave the cold like I used to. Even after growing up in New England my whole life and being used to the seasons, including the brutally cold winters, I can't seem to warm myself up today, as I weather forecasters reporting 1 and 2 degree temperatures, before factoring in the wind chills which then bring temperatures in the teen negative digits.
As I look out at our my driveway that could pass for an ice rink, I find myself longing for spring and the peaking out of bulbs getting ready to bloom and fill my yard with vibrant colors. Ahh, 59 days until Spring can't get here fast enough. But, as I sit here wrapped in layers, I am finding solace in the indoor plants I have, especially my new orchid which I was sent right after the holidays from Just Add Ice, to review. There is something about the daintiness of an orchid that makes you smile and brightens your day.
And, can you believe that this beautiful orchid is only $59.99. Yes, you read that right...only $59.99....A steal if you ask me, especially when you see this gorgeous orchid up close in its dainty gray ceramic planter. I have bought other orchids from garden centers and nurseries in the past and paid more than this, only to see them die a short time later. Even with the cold temperatures outside our orchid from Just Add Ice seems to be thriving, and really does add a glimpse of spring indoors, as outside is painting another picture.
If you are an orchid lover or know someone who is, why not consider picking up this or other orchid varieties available from Just Add Ice today, or even gift for Valentine's Day coming up? An orchid is a perfect flower to give to say "I'm Thinking of You," "You are Loved" or even as a "Cheer Up" gift. I love gifting orchids, and hearing family and friends tell me about how it adds color to their tables or indoor plant area, and how it also makes them smile. And, I know with the cold temps we have been dealt the past few days, waking to see an orchid like the one I was sent from Just Add Ice really does make accepting that we still have 59 more days of winter to go, a little more bearable.
You can learn all about this wonderful orchid as well as other plants available (including bonsai an money trees) and are ready to be shipped to your door, or to that someone special in your life, by visiting Just Add Ice today. So, what are you waiting for? Bring a little warmth and color into your life with a house plant from Just Add Ice, and find yourself forgetting about old man winter for a time. :-)
