"Start the new year with a laugh when Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch , which became available on Digital January 22nd , and will be released on 4K Ultra HD, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD on February 5th. Included are three hilarious new mini-movies featuring the Minions and Max!
Yesterday we ended up watching Dr. Seuss' The Grinch as our family movie night flick. It wasn't the first time we saw it, but it was definitely one of the movies we wanted to own and watch again in 2019. Last month, the girls and I ended up seeing this movie 4 times in the theaters. We took advantage of the $5 movie days at our nearby theater, and the girls never got tired of it. My oldest, a dog lover, thought Max was just the cutest dog, and my younger daughter loved how the movie ended with the Grinch's heart growing in size and seeing him be welcomed by the folks of Whoville.
This really was a cute movie for the holidays, and one you can enjoy year round. In addition to the movie, the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release has a bunch of fun bonus features, mini movies and more that you definitely have to check out. We spent over an hour after watching this cute family-friendly movie checking out all the bonus content. My girls loved the mini movies, as well as the music videos. There was also a section that teaches you have to draw the characters from the movie. This AM, my daughters tried their hand at drawing Max, as they watched and followed along to the drawing tutorial. When they were done, they put their Max drawings on the fridge, and then sat down to watch the movie again. They were so excited when we got this movie the other day, and I don't see them growing tired of it any time soon. :-) If you are looking for a fun family-friendly movie the whole family will enjoy, you will want to check out Dr. Seuss' The Grinch, available now on Digital, and soon to be released to Blu-ray and DVD on February 5th.
