Can you believe that this upcoming Friday is going to be February 1st? January flew right on by. And, I bet February will do the same. With February comes a handful of holidays including Groundhog's Day, followed by Valentine's Day shortly thereafter. I am planning some fun activities and theme days for the girls centered around the different holidays in February, and like in years past the girls will be doing Valentine card exchanges with their homeschool friends from all over the United States. As of today, we have made a handful of homemade Valentine's to give to their close friends, and have been busy signing and mailing out store-bought Valentine's to over 50 families. Yep, you read that right, 50 families, some with a few kids in each. Too bad I forgot to stock up on stamps before the price went up. Couldn't have saved a few days, as we will be going through a lot of stamps for this year's Valentine's Day exchange. But, the girls love getting mail and sending out cards to their friends in the different homeschool Facebook groups we are apart of, and seeing their excitement when they run to the mailbox and find mail for them, makes it worthwhile.
Like I said, my girls love to send out store-bought cards to friends, with their favorite characters from shows they watch. When it comes to Valentine's sent out in the mail, the girls have to look at Valentine's that contain stickers or tattoos, or other flat goodies that will fit in a standard envelope to send. They love picking up princess Valentines for girls and pirate or dinosaur ones for boys. But, this year, thanks to a recent Peppa Pig shipment we received as part of the VIP Peppa Pig Parents program, my girls were sent an assortment of Peppa Pig Valentine's Day goodies to get them excited about Valentine's Day, and they couldn't have come at a better time, as the package was filled with an assortment of Peppa Pig Valentine's you can find in stores (including Walmart), stickers and more!
My girls have loved being a part of the VIP Peppa Pig Parents program, reaping the benefits of receiving goodies when special holidays like Valentine's Day rolls around. And, this year, they were all smiles as they tore into the large envelope sent to find the following Peppa Pig goodies.
The girls are excited to celebrate Valentine's Day the Peppa Pig way, thanks to all the goodies you see above, including the Peppa Pig: Stars DVD and sticker activity kit.
The girls loved the assortment of valentines that came with their Peppa Pig package. They had been looking for Peppa Pig Valentine's to exchange when we recently went to the store and were disappointed to find they were sold out. So, they were all smiles when they saw this package filled with Peppa Pig Valentines to sign and send to friends, that included a fun Peppa Pig sticker or notepad. This afternoon starting working on their valentines to send out to their homeschool friends and were all smiles.
My girls really loved the assortment of Peppa Pig Valentine cards and said they would be well received by both boy and girl Peppa Pig fans. It was hard to let go of the stickers, as they really liked them, but my youngest said that they had the craft sticker sheets that were sent to us, so they could part with the other stickers and mini notepads, and let other kids who love Peppa Pig, enjoy these little goodies, too!
So, as you start stocking up on Valentine's Day supplies and cards for your kids, make sure you keep an eye out for these fun Peppa Pig options. Fans of the show will love them to give and receive them, and come on, who doesn't love Peppa Pig?! :-)
