One of the first books my oldest daughter learned how to read was the Pete the Cat series. She had a couple read long books that came with audio that we listened to in the car, as she flipped through the pages. And, after listening to the the first book about Pete's Groovy Buttons and singing the silly song, she had to pick up more books to read and share with her little sister who was a fan of the series, too.
So, you can only imagine how excited my girls were last month when they saw the new Pete the Cat animated series streaming on Amazon Prime. They binge watched all the series, and kept going back to watch their favorite parts, which usually consisted of a fun song to sing along to.
Knowing just how much my girls love Pete the Cat, I knew that they would love helping me review a new CD that was coming out (as of Nov. 2nd) that featured all the popular Pete the Cat songs from this new hit animated series, which brings the popular Pete the Cat books to life. In addition to the songs from the series, you will also find that this new CD release has six festive songs, perfect for listening to as you get ready for the holidays approaching.
My girls had a blast listening to this CD, and had an impromptu dance party this afternoon in the living room, singing and dancing along to the oh so catchy and must sing out loud Pete the Cat songs from this new CD.
