When I first received this book about a week ago, I couldn't wait to lift open the front cover and check it out.  What sets this pop-up book apart from other ones you probably read to/with your child is that the pop-up in this book is in the center of the book, and the pages that make up this 10 page book seem to provide a beautiful backdrop to the elegant Ballerina of the Realms.  

As you read this magical story to your child, you with both linger on each page, admiring the details of each page, and how they really do bring the story to life.  If you close your eyes for a minute, you can picture the Ballerina of the Realms dancing center stage.  

I love leaving books out on our coffee table in the living room during the holidays, and this is definitely one book that will be prominently displayed for family and friends to pick up and enjoy. They will fall in love with unique artistic pop-up book, and want to pick up a copy to have, so that they can cherish during the holidays and for years to come.  While I wait for the Disney The Nutcracker and the Four Realms to arrive on DVD so we can watch again, and well the holidays roll around, my girls and I will be enjoying this pop-up book, which we can't get enough of.  My girls love to grab the book and open it up, and flip through the pages, as they admire the ballerina and beautiful backdrop scenes that encase her.  

Once you see this book up close, you will see why we love it so much, and can't get enough of it.
