I am really enjoying all the new Smithsonian Channels's "The Real Story" releases from Public Media Distribution Inc.  If you follow my blog, then you have probably seen a handful of reviews over the past few months.  Last week, my husband and I sat to watch their newest release, all about the Da Vinci Code.  This program took a look at the real story behind the hidden Holy Grail, and where it could be.  Viewers hear from didn't historians, college professors and other da Vinci experts as they look at all the known information and determine if it has credibility or not.  

My husband and I really found this program interesting, and learned a lot about the Da Vinci Code, including the controversial Ron Howard's movie that had skeptics questioning the events and information shared in the movie.  If you are curious about the Holy Grail or just like learning about things, and hearing historians and experts talking on things like the Da Vinci Code, then you will want to check out this new DVD, as well as other releases in the popular "The Real Story" series.

The program investigates Ron Howard’s controversial 2003 box office hit and reveals that it was based on more real organizations and events than previously thought.  The Da Vinci Code film follows Harvard professor Robert Langdon’s attempt to solve a series of puzzles and codes left behind by the great Renaissance artist, Leonardo da Vinci, to find the true nature and final resting place of the Holy Grail.
