I don't want to scare you, but there are only 57 days left until Christmas. If you are a guy that means you have 56 days left to shop. And, if you are a parent or caregiver that only gives you about 30 days to get all your shopping and wrapping done, before you start planning for all the holiday gatherings and dinners. It seems like the holidays creep up on us earlier and earlier as each year passes. Summer is but a distant memory as you shop for back to school clothing, right alongside the Halloween stuff. And, then by the time you are ready to think of Halloween candy and costumes, the Christmas stuff is already out. Every year I tell myself I will start shopping early, as not to be stressed out as November rolls around, as I know once we hit the 1st of the month, that the month will fly right by, and then Dec. becomes a blur until the very end.
I have found that if I buy all the stocking stuffing now, I feel like I am making progress when it comes to holiday shopping for my girls. I, for one, love picking up goodies and little gifts to add the kids' stockings, as they don't require any wrapping. :-) Plus, what kid doesn't love to grab their stocking first thing on Christmas morning and dump it out to see what is inside? I know this is the first thing my girls do, and what I used to do as a kid. Some of my favorite gifts were found in a stocking. And, this year, I know my girls were be especially happy when they find a couple Playfoam Pals Season 1 2-Packs tucked in their stockings, as they have been collecting wild animal friends found tucked inside the Playfoam.
Recently, the kind folks at Educational Insights sent along a 2-pack of the Playfoam Pals for my girls to help me review.
They had recently seen these on the shelf at the store and asked for them. So, I knew when they found them in the mail that they would have a blast helping me review. I don't know about you, but my girls are all about the blind bags and surprise toys. They love finding the little toy or figure hidden, and then spend all their allowance and saved money to buy more so that they can collect the whole series, or at least try.
Playfoam Pals is just like the other surprise toys in which your child will open a package and find in this case a play foam animal pal. There are 12 animal pals total in series 1 for your kids to collect. But, the best part of this toy is that you not only get this cute animal pal to play with and collect, but the no-mess Playfoam it comes hidden inside is another toy your kids will love, and spend hours playing with.
My girls love Playfoam, and now love building little houses and things for their cute animals pals to use.
They have had the 2-pack for a couple weeks now, and continue to play with the play foam. And, just yesterday we had to run to the store to grab a few things, and the girls saw these on the shelf, and pooled their money to buy another 2-pack. And, all afternoon and they mixed and maxed the animal pals, all while playing with the different colored Playfoam, which in and of itself it so much fun to play with.
