My youngest daughter has begun her birthday countdown...a month and 9 days left until she turns 7 years old. :-) Birthdays are a big deal around here for my girls, and they start planning for it months in advance. Thankfully they pick a theme and stick with it, so I am not left rushing around last minute because they decided to go with something else. This year my daughter has chosen to be like her sister and have a Ty Beanie Boos party. So, last month we went to a few different party supply stores and picked up all the decorations and supplies, to make sure they didn't sell out prior to her birthday. :-) And, now that party decorations and that are done, and she has chosen and we have pre-ordered her cake, all she is left to do is make final decisions of things to do at her party.
While she thinks about the final details of her birthday, which she will celebrate all week long during the week of Nov. 10th...don't you celebrate all week, too? :-) ... she is pulling out all her favorite birthday-themed DVDs and watching some new ones we recently received in the mail, to get her excited about her upcoming birthday. One DVD that has been on repeat in our house is the new Pinkalicious and Peterrific Best Pink Present DVD, which is available in stores starting tomorrow. This DVD has four full-length stories, two of which celebrate birthdays -- Pinkalicious and then her Daddy's. So, this is perfect for counting down to my daughter's birthday. And, she loves pink and Pinkalicious so it makes it that much more enjoyable.
This DVD is perfect for Pinkalicous fans, and has everything you expect in a Pinkalicious story -- pink and glitter, and these stories are filled with these and so much more. My girls have been having a blast watch the four stories, which have a total run time of 50 minutes, and don't show signs of wanting to stop. Their favorite story was the one about the celebrator, an invention Pinkalicous' mother made for her.
