Regal Academy is the perfect show for children who love fairy tales and seeing some of their favorite characters from fairy tales comes to life. Both of my girls are fans of the Regal Academy series, and have been slowly building their DVD collection of this show. The other day they were all smiles when they saw the upcoming Regal Academy: The Grand Ball DVD arrive at our door. This DVD is set to release on March 13th and contains 3 full-length stories, along with a fun karaoke version of the song, "This is the Moment," which my girls can't stop singing, and now have me singing in the shower. :-)
Like the title suggests, this DVD is centered around the grand ball at Regal Academy. The friends at Regal Academy now have to decide who to take and what to wear. And, if you want to win the dancing competition Headmaster Cinderella will be holding in her castle, you will need to practice. There has to be a little drama and that comes in the form of the Sea Witch stealing Rose's voice right before she is about to make her singing debut. Will she get her voice back in time for her singing debut? Ad, with the frog curse put on Esquire Frog be broken so that he can go to the royal ball with Joy? You will just have to pick up this DVD and watch it with your children to find out.
Fans of this series, will love this new DVD release, as the three stories included on this DVD are fun and will be keep you engaged from start to end. This is also a great DVD to pick up if you want to see what the Regal Academy series is all about. Once you watch the first story, you will be hooked and want to watch more. :-)

The DVD also includes a karaoke bonus track of “This is the Moment” from the “Grand Ball” episode of the Nickelodeon series.

It’s time for the first big Ball on campus, and that means big dresses, big dancing and big dates. Esquire’s frog curse is so strong, no one has ever broken it, so Joy and Rose cook up a plan to kiss him at midnight with special curse-breaking lipstick. Vicky has her own plans for a fun night, inviting the evil Candlewick from Pinocchio to turn everyone at the Ball into donkeys!
“Swan Dancing with the Stars”
Headmistress Cinderella is holding a dance competition at her castle, and both Astoria and Odette -- the granddaughter of the Swan Princess -- are determined to win. But Vicky sabotages the dance with the help of Rothbart, the evil wizard from Swan Lake. Can Rose help everyone dance to victory?
“Song of the Sea Witch”
Rose wants to learn to sing, because all of the great fairy tale princesses could sing. Things get tricky when the Sea Witch steals Rose's voice! Rose has to sing in front of the whole school, as Hawk and the others fight to get her voice back in time for her debut!
