Can you believe that Thursday is going to be February 1st? January flew right on by. And, I bet February will do the same. And, with February comes a handful of holidays including Groundhog's Day on Friday and the Valentine's Day a couple weeks later. I am planning some fun activities and theme days for the girls centered around the different holidays in February, and like in years past the girls will be doing Valentine card exchanges with their homeschool friends from all over the United States. As of today, we have made a handful of homemade Valentine's to give their close friends, and have been busy signing and mailing out store-bought Valentine's to over 40 families. Yep, you read that right. That sure was a lot of stamps. But, the girls love getting mail and sending out cards to their friends in the different homeschool Facebook groups we are apart of.
Like I said, my girls love to send out store-bought cards to friends, with their favorite part next to receiving cards in the mail, is going shopping and choosing just the right cards to send out. When it comes to Valentine's sent out in the mail, the girls have to look at Valentine's that contain stickers or tattoos, or other flat goodies that will fit in a standard envelope to send. They love picking up princess Valentines for girls and pirate or dinosaur ones for boys. But, this year, thanks to a recent Peppa Pig shipment we received as part of the VIP Peppa Pig Parents program, my girls were sent an assortment of Peppa Pig Valentine's Day gifts to get them excited about Valentine's Day.
Included in the package was a 2018 Peppa Pig wall calendar, which was a duplicate to a calendar Santa brought Savannah for Christmas.
Bella was excited as she had been wanting one of these calendars to put on her bedroom wall. She is a huge George and his green dinosaur fan and loved how this calendar has some create pictures of George.
Now both of my girls are counting down the months with their very own Peppa Pig 2018 Wall Calendars. In addition to the wall calendar, the girls were also sent a package of 20 Peppa StickerTreats sticker boxes from Stickerfitti. My girls love these type of boxed stickers and usually find them at Walmart or Target.
They are great to add to birthday favor bags, to hand out at co op holiday parties, and can easily flatten the boxes and send in their mail along with cards to their friends.
The girls also received a set of 32 Peppa Pig Valentine cards (with stickers) from Paper Magic. They had been looking for Peppa Pig Valentine's to exchange when we recently went to the store and were disappointed to find they were sold out. So, they were all smiles when they saw this box of Peppa Pig Valentines to sign and send to friends, along with a fun Peppa Pig sticker. This afternoon we sent out our last 18 envelopes filled with Peppa Pig Valentines and stickers to the girls homeschool friends. My girls really loved the assortment of Peppa Pig Valentine cards and said they would be well received by both boy and girl Peppa Pig fans. It was hard to let go of the stickers, as they really liked them.
But, thanks to a cute Peppa'a Valentine's Day book from Scholastic that we were also sent in this Valentine's package, the girls were able to enjoy Peppa Pig stickers that are included in the back of this Valentine's themed story.
My girls were so happy and surprised to receive this Valentine's Day package from Peppa Pig in the mail last week. They loved that they could enjoy the wall calendar and storybook, along with a couple boxes of stickers they kept, while also being able to share their love of Peppa Pig with their homeschool friends by sending fun Peppa Pig valentine's and stickers their way.
If you have a Peppa Pig fan in your life and are still searching for the perfect Valentine's to pick up for their school or a group exchange, you will definitely want to check out the set of 32 Peppa Pig Valentine cards (with stickers) from Paper Magic. The box of Valentine's costs only $2.50, which is a steal if you ask me. And, while you are out and about shopping why not consider picking up the Peppa Pig StickerTreats sticker boxes. You get 20 boxes in a package for only $3.48, and can sign the "To:" and "From:" section on the back of the sticker box and have your child hand out to friends and classmates. Each sticker box contains 5 full Peppa Pig stickers that fans of the show will love. I plan to pick up a few more of these packages to have on hand so I can add to Savannah's birthday favor bags in July. Come on, what kid doesn't love stickers? My girls love sticking them everywhere, including my windows and walls. I guess they think they are works of art. :-)
