THE MAN WHO INVENTED CHRISTMAS releases in theaters on November 22
Do you have a holiday movie you are looking forward to releasing in theaters at Christmas time? My family is counting down the days until the release of THE MAN WHO INVENTED CHRISTMAS. You may recall me sharing a post last month with the trailer of this heartwarming family-friendly movie, which arrives in theaters Thanksgiving weekend. The first time I saw the trailer, I had to show it to my girls, and made a point to add it to our calendar. We love Christmas movies and this looks like one we will enjoy in theaters and then buy the DVD when it comes out to add to our growing DVD collection, and enjoy for years to come. If you haven't heard about or seen the trailer for the THE MAN WHO INVENTED CHRISTMAS movie, here is the trailer and a little back story, which you will see features one of my all-time favorite actors, Christopher Plummer, from The Sound of Music, who stars alongside Dan Stevens from Beauty and the Beast and Downton Abbey in this upcoming family movie out soon in theaters...
"The Man Who Invented Christmas tells the magical journey that led to the creation of Ebenezer Scrooge (Christopher Plummer), Tiny Tim and other classic characters from A Christmas Carol. Directed by Bharat Nalluri (Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day), the film shows how Charles Dickens (Dan Stevens) mixed real life inspirations with his vivid imagination to conjure up unforgettable characters and a timeless tale, forever changing the holiday season into the celebration we know today."

Can you imagine Christmas without carols, giving, and the phrase “Bah Humbug?” THE MAN WHO INVENTED CHRISTMAS tells the magical journey that led to the creation of Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and other classic characters from “A Christmas Carol.” We’re sure this special holiday film will become another Christmas classic!
Doesn't this look like an amazing holiday movie? I have always loved watching "It's a Wonderful Life" with my family on Christmas Eve, but I expect this movie, when it arrives on DVD after the theatrical release to be another holiday movie we will be watching as we wait for Santa's arrival.
