THE PAW PATROL HEAD TO COOLER CLIMATES FOR
CHILLY NEW ADVENTURES
You don't have to ask my daughter, Savannah, twice if she wants to help me review anything Paw Patrol, as she is a huge fan. She can't go a day without wearing something Paw Patrol. And, at bedtime, most nights she is rocking mismatched Paw Patrol pajamas...sometimes with tops that are a little small, but she can't part with them just yet. That reminds me, why aren't there any Paw Patrol clothes out there now for girls 6X and above? Savannah's closet is jam packed with 4 and 5T, but nothing bigger. Well, while we wait on more clothes for her to show her love for this popular animated series on Nickelodeon, Savannah is happy to add another Paw Patrol to her growing DVD collection.
Before I go any further, Savannah wanted me to remind you all that tomorrow, Friday, is a new Paw Patrol episode on Nickelodeon, so if your child doesn't plan to watch it live, then make sure you set your DVR to record it. We will be watching it live and then again many for times, thanks to Savannah's Paw Patrol episodes she stores on the DVR. :-)
Back to the upcoming DVD release, which arrives on store shelves on October 24th...this DVD is jam packed with fun Paw Patrol adventures -- 7 full-length episodes to be exact. Savannah was excited to see Everest on this DVD as she is one of her favorite pups next to Skye and Marshall. Even though Savannah has already seen these episodes more than a dozen times, she was excited to watch them again. And, after the first few episodes so stopped to ask when it would be winter so that she could play in the snow. I guess this DVD got her snow fever. I, for one, am good with little to no snow for winter, but we live in New England, so expect crazy unpredictable winters and lots of snow into spring.
I tried asking Savannah if she had a favorite episode, but being a huge Paw Patrol fan, she said she liked them all...go figure. She did point out, though, that out of the few recent Paw Patrol DVDs we have received, this one has a great variety of episodes -- some of her favorites. She said that if we hadn't gotten a screener to review, she was going to ask to put this DVD on her wish list for Santa, along with her growing Paw Patrol toys she is hoping for. So, if you have a Paw Patrol fan in your life and want to get a start on your holiday shopping for them, why not consider pre-ordering this upcoming DVD release, which right now is under $10 on Amazon. It would make a great stocking stuffer...that is, if you can keep a secret until the holidays. Good luck with that. :-)

- The Pups Winter Wonder Show - The Adventure Bay Snow Show is in danger of being a no-show when Mayor Humdinger escapes with the feature act, Cap'n Turbot's performing penguins. It's up to the PAW Patrol to return the penguins so that the show can go on.
- Pups Save a Sleepwalking Bear - The pups need to get a sleepwalking bear back home before he wakes up.
- Pups Save Jake's Cake - Ryder and the pups help get a surprise birthday cake up to Jake's cabin.
- Pups Save a Teeny Penguin - When Everest and Jake try to rescue a little penguin, they wind up floating out to sea on a homemade bridge.
