I am not usually one to live video games made based on animated cartoons or shows.  But, after my husband introduced me to the previous South Park game, I, like so many others have been waiting for this much anticipated sequel release.  And, the wait, with a few delays, proved to be worth it, as this game is better than the first.  

I received the new South Park: The Fractured But Whole video game last week and have been having a blast playing it with my husband at night time after the girls go to bed.  Like the show, it includes a fun story line and throws in parodies which will have fans of the popular South Park series laughing and smiling while they play.

What is so great about this new game release, which is available on a variety of gaming platforms is the many upgrades from the previous game.  I love how you can develop our own superhero back story  and character before you fight epic battles with the new combat system, which is even more creative than the first game.

Be careful you don't play this game around little ones as there is inappropriate content including poop and fart jokes -- what you expect from this adult comedy animated series.  My oldest daughter walked in on my husband trying to get a game in before work and her a poop joke. Then, all day she was giggling and repeating it.

It is usually hard to say that sequel video games are great, but I don't have to hesitate when saying it about this game.  South Park: The Fractured But Whole is better than the original and will provide fans of the show hours and hours of fun as they enjoy the amazing story line and hilarious jokes and parodies throughout.

So, if you have a South Park fan in your life, or are one yourself, make sure you add this new video game to your shopping/wish list.  It will not disappoint!
