Blast Box combines both strategy and suspense for an unpredictable burst of fun!!
My girls have been asking about Blast Box ever since they saw a commercial for this Zing Toys game. It looked cool they said, and would be a fun family game night game. And, you know what...they were right! We recently received this game to try out and it was an instant hit with both kids and adults.
I am not usually a fan of games that a suspense feature like an explosion or balloon burst. But, after bursting the balloon the first time, I couldn't help but laugh and want to try again.
The game itself is easy to set up and play with 2-4 players, ages 4+.
Blast Box comes with 1 Blast Box, 1 hammer, 100 balloons, 1 balloon pump, 30
plastic pins, 1 spinner and 20 easy tie balloon clips.
You first begin by blowing up a balloon for each person playing the game. There is an easy to use balloon pump that makes blowing up the small balloons (also included with game) quick and easy.
Once the balloons are blown up, you simply tuck them under the plastic Blast Box.
Then, players take turns spinning the spinner (or the free Blast Box app, available on iOS and Android and loaded with fun trivia questions to see how many pins they will be hammering into the box.
Once they land on a number and gather the right amount of pins, the real fun begins. Everyone around the table looks on, as the player grabs the plastic hammer and starts banging the pins into the Blast Box. Will their pins burst a balloon and put them out of the game? Everyone will be waiting for the P-O-P and when it happens, you can't help but laugh and jump a little out of your seat.
Play continues until one player is left at the table who successfully avoids popping a balloon.
Are you and your family and friends ready for the #BlastBoxChallenge? And, will you be the lucky one left holding the Blast Box hammer with no balloon popped? Even if you do burst the balloon, it will be worth the fun and laughter this addicting game from Zing brings. We can't get enough of it, and continually pull this game out to play. I love how it is easy to set up and that my girls ages 5.5 and 7 can play without needing my help. I know when they are playing as they can't stop yelling and giggling, and then will run in to tell me so and so burst the balloon. :-)
Be sure to have your camera ready when you play Blast Box so that you can record every blasting moment of fun so you can share online using the #BlastBoxChallenge hashtag.
